Services Offered in Paediatric Cardiology:
Trans-thoracic ECHO (TTE) for congenital heart diseases in neonates, children, and adults (100–150 ECHOs/month)
Trans-Esophageal ECHO (TEE) performed in a controlled outpatient setting with vital monitoring and anesthetist support (10–15/month)
Fetal ECHO for inpatient and referral cases (10–15/month)
Per-operative and immediate post-operative ECHO in cardiac surgery and intensive care units (40–50 congenital cardiac surgeries/month)
Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations for a range of congenital heart diseases (approximately 25/month) including:
Left-to-right shunting lesions (VSD, PDA, ASD) with pulmonary hypertension assessment
Tetralogy of Fallot with MAPCA coiling
Evaluation for functionally univentricular heart diseases prior to BDG and Fontan procedures
Pulmonary balloon valvuloplasty
Aortic balloon valvuloplasty
PDA device occlusion
